This full renovation and large extension on a mud brick home doubled the house in size. The client was a family that needed more space, and one of our key challenges was in blending the old components of the house with the new.
We added a new kitchen, living room, dining room, study, entry area and decking, as well as renovating and modernising the original bathrooms and bedrooms. Travertine stone flooring and radial timber were used to complement the organic feel of the existing mud brick structure. We also installed large recycled timber beams and posts throughout the home for a unique, striking and coherent aesthetic.
